Common use of Sanitary Sewer System Clause in Contracts

Sanitary Sewer System. The Developer agrees to pay the cost of a State of Tennessee approved sanitary sewer system complete with necessary sewer mains, manholes, pump stations, force mains and service laterals in the Project, along with all necessary sewer mains, manholes, pump stations, force mains and service laterals outside the Project but required to provide sanitary sewer service to the Project. a. Pump stations will not be allowed without specific written approval from the BMA. b. The Developer acknowledges that the Town will assess sewer connection charges against the Project in accordance with the Town policy prevailing at the time building permits are acquired. c. The Developer agrees to bear the cost of all engineering, inspection and laboratory testing costs incurred by the Developer incidental to the sewer system in or to the Project, and if the Development Director or his designee deems it necessary, to have additional work of such nature performed as directed without cost to the Town.
