Common use of Sales or Lease Tax Clause in Contracts

Sales or Lease Tax. Tenant shall pay Landlord any sales, use, excise and lease taxes and all other similar charges or payments required as a result of the existence of this Lease or as a result of the payments being made to Landlord hereunder, which has been imposed or levied by any governmental entity having jurisdiction over the Property, this Lease, or the payments made pursuant to this Lease. All such tax payments are due simultaneously with the amount from which the tax arises or is based, and all such tax payments are Additional Rent.
