Salary Increment While Acting. Should an employee act in a position for one (1) year or more, the employee so acting shall be eligible to receive an increment in the salary scale in which they are acting, provided that they are not already at the maximum of that salary scale. It is recognized that upon return from acting to the employee's position, the employee's increment date remains unchanged and the employee will be returned to the salary scale of their position (except in those circumstances covered by Article 15.09) at the increment level to which they are entitled in accordance with Article 15.11(e), Increment Date Upon Appointment.
