Safety Server. The safety server is a similar instance of CMS/UDG in a different location in order to test and validate the intelligence distribution of IoT6 architecture. The safety server component handles alarm-related events. It is in charge of the building safety, while CMS/UDG takes care of sensor control and monitoring. The safety server was configured with a set of rules to take care of the alarm processing to launch the required actions related to the safety and security. If the data received justify it, the safety server can trigger an alarm and act on several physical and virtual alarms. No web interface is required, because a rule automatically handles the incoming alarms. The communication with the safety server is made by IPv6 with a CoAP version 12 interface.
