SACRAMENTS Clause Samples

The 'SACRAMENTS' clause defines the rules and procedures regarding the administration and reception of religious sacraments within a particular context, such as a church, school, or religious organization. It typically outlines who is eligible to receive sacraments, the necessary preparations or prerequisites, and the roles of clergy or authorized individuals in administering them. This clause ensures that the sacraments are conducted in accordance with established religious doctrine and organizational policies, thereby maintaining the integrity and proper observance of these important rites.
SACRAMENTS. Frequent reception of the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist is encouraged. Children in the second grade receive First Reconciliation in December and First Communion in May. Confirmation takes place in the spring of the eighth-grade year.
SACRAMENTS. ▇▇▇▇▇ gave the church two visible symbols (ordinances) as reminders of his life, death and resurrection. These two ordinances are: baptism and communion. Baptism and communion are both a means of grace or an outward means by which ▇▇▇▇▇▇ communicates to his people the truths of redemption. In celebrating these two sacraments in community, we are reminding each other of who ▇▇▇▇▇▇ is and what He accomplished for us on the cross so that we may live daily in full view of the Cross.
SACRAMENTS. The sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion are taught in the second grade, with Reconciliation preceding First Communion. Confirmation will occur when students are in the eighth grade after a 2 year sacramental preparation program. Parents/guardians are expected to fully participate in their students’ preparation for these sacraments. As a Catholic community, it is our responsibility and privilege to serve and support those in need. Our students have great compassion and willingness to help others. Our school may participate in projects including Soup Kitchen collections, Coats for Christmas, Operation Rice Bowl Mission Boxes, Mission Raffles, visits to nursing homes, and cards to parishioners.
SACRAMENTS. 3.1 Given that there is denominational agreement only in the matter of baptism the following conditions shall apply: a) The sacrament of baptism shall normally be celebrated by the incumbent according to the rites and denominational policy appropriate to the congregation who will take pastoral responsibility for the person baptised. b) The sacrament of Holy Communion will be conducted by an ordained person using the rites of the respective denominations. The incumbent will conduct Holy Communion in his/her own church building according to the rites of his/her own denomination. Further, the other denomination will authorise the incumbent to conduct Holy Communion in the other church's building according to the rites of the other denomination. Holy Communion will be conducted according to each denomination's rites normally once monthly. 3.2 Members of both denominations are free, according to personal conscience, to attend and receive communion at a celbration of either denomination. The choice of any who might feel unable to receive communion in the other denomination's tradition is equally respected.
