Common use of S everability Clause in Contracts

S everability. If any provision of this Agreement shall be determined by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the remainder of this Agreement, which shall be construed as if such invalid or unenforceable provision had never been a part of this Agreement.
