RTP Clause Samples
The RTP (Right to Purchase) clause grants a party the option or priority to buy a specific asset, property, or interest under predetermined conditions. Typically, this clause outlines the circumstances under which the right can be exercised, such as upon the occurrence of a triggering event or within a certain timeframe, and may specify the purchase price or method for determining it. Its core practical function is to provide certainty and priority to the holder of the right, ensuring they have the first opportunity to acquire the asset before it is offered to others, thereby protecting their interests and reducing the risk of losing a valuable opportunity.
