Room Switch Sample Clauses

A Room Switch clause outlines the conditions and procedures under which a tenant or occupant may change from one room to another within a property. Typically, this clause specifies the process for requesting a switch, any associated fees, and the landlord’s approval requirements. For example, it may allow a tenant to move to a different room if it becomes available, provided they submit a formal request and meet certain criteria. The core function of this clause is to provide flexibility for tenants while ensuring the landlord maintains control over room assignments and occupancy logistics.
Room Switch. A resident must receive prior written permission from Student Housing & Residence Life to switch rooms. A meeting must be booked with the applicable Community Development Coordinator in order to request a room change. Student Housing & Residence Life has the authority to grant or deny such a request at its sole and absolute discretion, and is not obligated to give any reason or explanation for granting or denying such a request. Any resident who changes to another room is subject to a $250.00 room switch fee in order to cover cleaning and administrative costs and may be required to pay additional Residence Fees (as defined below) in the event that the resident relocates to a room with higher Residence Fees (as defined below).
