ROAD MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY SPECIFICATIONS. INCLUDED SPECIFICATIONS 1.1 Slide removal is the removal from Roadway and disposal of any material, such as soil, rock, and vegetation that cannot be routinely handled by a motor grader during Ditch Cleaning, Activity 3020 and Surface Blading (Grader), Activity 1030. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Slide Material, including soil, rock and vegetative matter which encroaches into the Roadway, shall be removed. The slope which generated the Slide Material shall be reshaped during the removal of the Slide Material. Slide Material deposited on the fillslope and below the Traveled Way will not be removed unless needed for slope stability or to protect adjacent resources.
