Common use of Riot Clause in Contracts

Riot. The Company shall not indemnify the Insured: (a) against any loss arising directly or indirectly in consequence of riot, civil commotion and (except in respect of any loss by fire or explosion) strikers, locked out workers, persons engaged in labour disturbances or malicious persons in Northern Ireland; (b) under Section 3 in respect of any loss directly or indirectly caused by or contributed to by, or arising from, or occasioned by or resulting from riot or civil commotion.
