Right to Restrict Processing Clause Samples
The Right to Restrict Processing clause grants individuals the ability to limit how their personal data is used by an organization. In practice, this means that under certain circumstances—such as when the accuracy of the data is contested or the processing is unlawful but the individual opposes erasure—a person can request that their data not be processed for specific purposes. This clause serves to give individuals greater control over their personal information, ensuring that their data is not used in ways they object to while disputes or issues are resolved.
