Right to Associate. The District and Association recognize the right of employees to form, join and participate in the activities of the Association and the equal alternative right of employees to refuse to form, join or participate in employee organization activities.
Right to Associate. The Board and the Association recognize the right of unit members to form, join and participate in the lawful activities of an employee organization, and the equal alternative right of unit members to refuse to form, join or participate in employee organization activities. The District will deduct from the pay of Association members, and pay to the Association the normal and regular monthly Association membership dues as voluntarily authorized in writing by the unit member on the authorization form developed by the Association according to the terms and conditions established in the authorization form and subject to the following conditions:

Right to Associate. The Reinsurer shall defend, at its own expense pursuant to the terms hereof and the Administrative Services Agreement, and in the name of the applicable Reinsured when necessary, any litigation, arbitration or other legal proceeding brought on any Reinsured Contract or Third Party Reinsurance Agreement with respect to the Business Covered. The Reinsurer, when so requested, shall afford the applicable Reinsured an opportunity to be associated with the Reinsurer, at the expense of the Reinsured, in the defense or control of any claim, suit or proceeding involving the Business Covered and the Parties shall cooperate in every respect in the defense of such claim, suit or proceeding.
Right to Associate. Administrator shall prosecute or defend, at its own expense pursuant to the terms of this Administrative Services Agreement and the LPT Reinsurance Agreement and in the name of the applicable Reinsureds when necessary, any litigation, arbitration or other legal proceeding brought on any Reinsured Contract or Third Party Reinsurance Agreement with respect to the Business Covered. Administrator, when so requested, shall afford Reinsureds an opportunity to be associated with Administrator, at the expense of Reinsureds, in the defense of any claim, suit or proceeding involving the Business Covered and the Parties shall cooperate in every respect in the prosecution or defense of such claim, suit or proceeding. Any recovery for the benefit of Reinsureds shall be first used to reimburse Administrator for its expenses in connection with the proceedings and the remainder used as a recovery under the terms of the LPT Reinsurance Agreement.
Right to Associate. Pursuant to PERA, every teacher shall have the right freely to organize, join, and support the Association for the purpose of engaging in collective professional negotiations, for mutual aid and protection. As a duly-elected body exercising governmental power under Michigan law, the Board will not directly or indirectly discourage or deprive or coerce any teacher in the enjoyment of any rights conferred by Michigan law or the Constitutions of Michigan and the United States; that it will not discriminate against any teacher as to hours, wages, or any terms or conditions of employment by reason of Association membership, participation in any Association activities, collective professional negotiations with the Board, institution of any grievance, complaint, or proceedings under this Agreement, or otherwise as to any terms or conditions of employment.
Right to Associate. Pursuant to Act 379 of the Public Acts of 1965, the Board hereby agrees that all employees shall have the right to freely to organize, join and support the Union for the purpose of engaging in collective bargaining negotiations, as defined in Section 11, Act 379 of the Public Acts of 1965, for mutual aid and protection. As a duly elected body exercising governmental power under the laws of the State of Michigan, the Board undertakes and agrees that it will not directly or indirectly discourage, deprive or coerce any employee in the enjoyment of any rights conferred by Act 379 or other laws of Michigan or the Constitutions of Michigan and the United States; that it will not discriminate against any employee with respect to hours, wages, or any terms or conditions of employment by reason of his/her membership in the Union, his/her participation in any activities of the Union, or collective bargaining negotiations with the Board, or his/her institution of any grievance, complaint or proceedings under this Agreement or otherwise with respect to any terms or conditions of employment.
Right to Associate. The Reinsurer shall have the right, but not the obligation, to associate at its own expense in the defense or settlement of all claims impacting this Contract, and the Reinsured shall cooperate with the Reinsurer in this regard. However, nothing in this clause shall over-ride the provisions of the Loss Settlements Clause. Choice of Law & Jurisdiction The validity, construction and performance of this Contract shall be governed by the law of England and Wales and the Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute hereunder.
Right to Associate. When so requested in writing, PIC shall afford Cumis or its representatives an opportunity to be associated with PIC, at the expense of Cumis, in the defense of any claim, suit or proceeding involving this reinsurance, and PIC and Cumis shall cooperate in every respect in the defense of such claim, suit or proceeding.
