Common use of Revocation; Effectiveness Clause in Contracts

Revocation; Effectiveness. Notwithstanding any other provision in this Agreement to the contrary, Employee may revoke this Agreement, in writing, for up to seven (7) days following the date of Employee’s execution of this Agreement, by delivering a written notice of Employee’s revocation of this Agreement to the Company. Any such notice of revocation must be received during such period and shall be delivered via email and certified mail to the General Counsel of the Company at One Briarlake Plaza, ▇▇▇▇ ▇. ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Parkway S., Suite 2000 Houston, TX 77042 (email address: ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇@▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇). If no such revocation occurs, this Agreement will become fully binding, enforceable, and irrevocable on the eighth (8th) day after Employee executes this Agreement and delivers it to the Company, provided that it has also been executed by an officer of the Company and delivered to Employee (the “Effective Date”).
