Common use of Revocation/Effective Date Clause in Contracts

Revocation/Effective Date. This Agreement shall not become effective or enforceable until the eighth day after Employee signs this Agreement. In other words, Employee may revoke Employee’s acceptance of this Agreement within seven (7) days after the date Employee signs it. The Severance Package shall become due and payable in accordance with Section 2 above after the Effective Date.

The Severance Package If Employee fails to timely sign this Agreement or revokes this Agreement as provided for above, the Agreement shall become due have no force or effect and payable in accordance with Section 2 above after Employee shall have no right to the Effective Datearrangements, payments, or benefits referenced above.
