Reverse Engineering; Other Technology Uses Clause Samples

The "Reverse Engineering; Other Technology Uses" clause prohibits parties from analyzing, decompiling, or disassembling the technology or software provided under the agreement to discover its underlying structure, source code, or trade secrets. This restriction typically applies to any attempt to replicate, modify, or create derivative works based on the original technology, and may also limit the use of the technology for purposes not expressly permitted by the agreement. The core function of this clause is to protect the intellectual property and proprietary information of the technology owner, preventing unauthorized use or disclosure that could undermine their competitive advantage.
