Returned Material Authorizations. If during the troubleshooting and fault isolation process, it is determined that a hardware failure is the root cause of the problem, CUSTOMER shall replace the defective product from its spares pool and then contact Supplier to initiate a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) for the defective Product. Supplier shall promptly provide an RMA number to CUSTOMER and instructions on failed product disposition and return of the defective product to Supplier. CUSTOMER shall ensure that the Product is shipped back following the provided RMA procedures and packed suitably to prevent damage in shipping. No Products may be returned to Supplier without an RMA. Units returned under RMA will be repaired or replaced and shipped back to CUSTOMER within thirty (30) days of receipt at Supplier’s designated facility. CUSTOMER pays shipping charges to Supplier; Supplier pays shipping charges back to CUSTOMER.
