Common use of Return or Destruction Clause in Contracts

Return or Destruction. Except as otherwise set forth herein, the Receiving Party shall promptly return to Disclosing Party (or destroy and certify to the destruction of) all Confidential Information, together with all copies and material relating thereto, upon termination of this Agreement for any reason . Receiving Party may retain a copy for evidentiary or compliance purposes, which copy shall remain subject to all confidentiality obligations under this Section so long as it is retained.
