Common use of Retention of Personal Information Clause in Contracts

Retention of Personal Information. It is the Company's policy to retain personal information of both current and former employees and contractors only for as long as the Company believes it to be necessary for the purposes for which the personal information was collected, subject to any legal requirements for the data to be retained for longer. The Global Records Management Policy I-D-200 and Corporate Records Retention Schedules provide a framework for managing company Records. Details of specific records retention periods are available on the Company's Record Management intranet site accessible on MySource. The Information Protection Policy I-N-310 and related policies, standards and guidelines provide a comprehensive, risk- based approach to the control, processing, storage, transmission and communication of Company information, including personal information.
