Result 2B. At least 30% of the youth out of school system in the 25 municipalities identified have skills with community-based approaches and are prepared to be part of the labor market. The total population of youth who participate in training centers to receive the integral education proposal in Q4FY2014 is of 1,815 youth who have received the Life Skills and Job Preparation Program; FUSALMO (239), AIS (1,505) and EDYTRA (71). The following are some of the offered programs: office automation, costume jewelry, preparation of scented candles and stuffed animals, customer service for waiters, cosmetology, bakery, residential electricity, vehicle mechanics, motor maintenance, vehicle electricity, basic electricity, screen printing, cooking and tailoring. The programs coverage, to date, has extended to 28 municipalities. The plan is to develop courses according to the needs and potential of local development through results obtained in the Municipal Diagnostic. Strategies are formulated to attend population attended by other institutions in other activities and the component joins by providing the educational and training offer, with the purpose of expanding coverage and advancing towards the planned goal. Result 2B. At least 23,150 out-of-schooled youth identified in the 25 municipalities and surroundings have skills with community-based approaches and are prepared to be part of the labor market. To date, the Project has directly assisted to 6,926 8 youth who have participated in life skills and community based-training approach. From those, AIS had assisted 5,661, FUSALMO; 1,205 and 60 by XXXXXX. In this quarter, the strategy towards a community based approach model has continued expanding towards surroundings municipalities. There are over 80 education centers, which provided training and education services to youth. Those are been assisted by the partnership network. These centers have organized mobile teams to expand services in rural and distant communities. In this quarter, 1,823 new youth have been registered in the activities offered by the Project in the 28 municipalities assisted by AIS (256), and FUSALMO (1,567). From those, 350 youth finished at least 16 hours of training and are received assistance to continue studying. New strategies are implementing and planning to increase and expand the services in order to meet the Project targets for this component

To date, 2,421 youth have been participated in the Life Skills and Job Readiness program. The following are some of the courses they have participated in: computer courses, handmade jewelry, making scented candles, cosmetology, baking, course to wait tables, etc. To date the programs coverage has extended to 26 municipalities. New offers have been incorporated on courses related to: learning English to be used in restaurants and customer service courses in municipalities visited by tourists. There is a plan to develop courses according to the needs and potential of local development from Municipal Diagnosis. Diagnosis will finalize next quarter. Strategies are being prepared to widen coverage and achieving the planned target. To date, AIS, FUSALMO & EDYTRA have expanded their educational offers in 26 municipalities. Result 2B. At least 30% of youth outside the education system in 25 municipalities are involved in training programs to learn skills based on the communities local markets. To date there has been a total of 1,970 and during this quarter it has been reported that 1,335 youth have been served. Youth have attended training courses on life skills and employment preparation, courses lasted 56 hours. AIS has expanded their educational offers to 970 youth (338 men and 632 women) in 10 municipalities: Soyapango (335), Atiquizaya (39), Panchimalco (78), Xxxxxxxx (82), La Libertad (48), Ilobasco (62), Santa Tecla (91), Santa Xxx (84), San Xxxx Xxxxx (114), Sonsonate (17). FUSALMO focuses its offerings in Soyapango. Strategies are being developed to widen coverage and to progress towards achieving the planned objective.

  • Termination Due To Lack Of Funding Appropriation If, in the judgment of the Director of Accounts and Reports, Department of Administration, sufficient funds are not appropriated to continue the function performed in this agreement and for the payment of the charges hereunder, State may terminate this agreement at the end of its current fiscal year. State agrees to give written notice of termination to contractor at least 30 days prior to the end of its current fiscal year, and shall give such notice for a greater period prior to the end of such fiscal year as may be provided in this contract, except that such notice shall not be required prior to 90 days before the end of such fiscal year. Contractor shall have the right, at the end of such fiscal year, to take possession of any equipment provided State under the contract. State will pay to the contractor all regular contractual payments incurred through the end of such fiscal year, plus contractual charges incidental to the return of any such equipment. Upon termination of the agreement by State, title to any such equipment shall revert to contractor at the end of the State's current fiscal year. The termination of the contract pursuant to this paragraph shall not cause any penalty to be charged to the agency or the contractor.
