Responsible Engineer Sample Clauses

The Responsible Engineer clause designates a specific individual or role as the primary point of accountability for engineering decisions and oversight within a project. This clause typically outlines the qualifications required for the Responsible Engineer, their authority to approve designs, and their duty to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations. By clearly assigning responsibility, the clause helps prevent ambiguity in decision-making and ensures that there is a qualified professional overseeing critical engineering aspects, thereby reducing the risk of errors and improving project safety and quality.
