Reserves Estimates Clause Samples
The Reserves Estimates clause defines how the quantity and quality of reserves, such as oil, gas, or minerals, are calculated and reported under the agreement. Typically, it outlines the methodologies, standards, or third-party evaluators to be used in determining these estimates, and may specify the frequency of updates or the process for resolving disputes over figures. This clause ensures that all parties have a clear, consistent, and reliable basis for understanding the value and potential of the reserves, thereby reducing the risk of misunderstandings or disputes regarding resource quantities.
