Required Coursework Clause Samples
The Required Coursework clause defines the specific academic courses or subjects that a student must complete as part of a program or curriculum. Typically, this clause lists mandatory classes, prerequisites, or credit requirements that are essential for graduation or progression within a degree. By clearly outlining these obligations, the clause ensures that students understand the academic standards they must meet, thereby promoting transparency and helping institutions maintain consistent educational outcomes.
Required Coursework. Appendix A lists ▇▇▇▇▇▇ State College courses that are required for the A.A.S. Court and Realtime Reporting and, where applicable, also lists Jamestown Community College equivalent courses. High School Math A, or its equivalent, is required for admission to this program. Graduation requires a minimum of five of the ten SUNY General Education knowledge areas. Students can take any combination of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ State College courses and Jamestown Community College equivalent courses to meet their degree requirements. All required courses are offered online by ▇▇▇▇▇▇ State College. Some Jamestown Community College equivalent courses are also offered online. However, in most cases students will combine traditional courses at Jamestown Community College with online courses from ▇▇▇▇▇▇ State College, often enrolling in both each semester.
Required Coursework. To obtain the applicable degree, Participants must fulfill the following coursework req uirements:
1. Approximately two years' baccalaureate study at ORU: A mi nimum of 69 semester hours of undergraduate level courses (after admission with junior standing based on approved prior coursework at BFSU) defined by ORU as fulfilling a bachelor's degree accredited by ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs), a global specialized business accreditation organization. 2. One or two years of graduate study at ORU: A minimum of 31-36 semester hours of graduate level courses defined by ORU as fulfilling an MBA.
3. Acceptance as an undergraduate Business student to ORU, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA entitles the student to simultaneously enroll in MBA graduate coursework (up to 12 cumulative hours.)
4. Graduating from ORU with an undergraduate Business degree and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 entitles the student to enroll in the MBA program (subject to appl ication admissions approval).
5. The General (no concentration) MBA program may be completed in a 1-2 year period, depending upon the number and type of graduate and proficiency courses successfully completed during the student's undergraduate matriculation. An MBA with a concentration requires additional coursework (typically 6 credit hours) beyond the General MBA.
Required Coursework. Appendix A lists JCC courses that may be taken to satisfy requirements of the Veterinary Technology A.A.S. degree program at ASC, and remaining coursework to be taken at ASC. Graduation requires a minimum of three of the ten SUNY General Education knowledge areas. Students can take any combination of ASC courses and JCC equivalent courses from Appendix A to meet their degree requirements.
