Request for Training. Employees requesting permission to attend any school, training session or seminars shall submit in writing a request to the Chief stating the objective, benefit and expected expense. The Chief shall make the final determination on approval and communicate it to the employee.

Workforce Connections has the right to close or restrict individual user account authorizations at its discretion without prior notification to the User or the User’s employer. Users will be notified of the reason for account change and requirements necessary to reopen or remove restrictions, if available. Requests to close user accounts must originate from the Program Manager or Supervisor (or designee). The Company agrees that if a part-time employee suffers a loss of hours and/or earnings in the department in which they are normally employed and such employee requests in writing to be trained in another department, the Company will offer by seniority from the list of those who have applied, training in such department before hiring new employees.
