School officials agree to report to law enforcement officials any bias intimidation incident that may constitute a criminal offense under the New Jersey Code of Criminal Justice. Bias intimidation may also constitute HIB. Law enforcement officials agree to notify the principal of the school at which a student is enrolled when a student or a student’s parent or guardian reports to the law enforcement agency that a student may be the victim of HIB, as defined in the ABR.
