Replacing or Repairing Employee’s Property. The District shall compensate all 41 bargaining unit employees for loss or damage to personal clothing and property 42 arising from an on-the-job accident which is formally reported to Business Services 43 on the appropriate form. Loss will be determined on the basis of standard insurance 44 depreciation tables. (Bodily injury is not necessary to qualify for this benefit.) 45 Upon proper submission of the claim and approval by the Chief Business and 46 Financial Officer, the claim shall be paid according to the commercial warrant cycle 1 for such claims. As per Labor Code, Section 3208, personal property is defined as: 2 artificial members; dentures; hearing aids; eyeglasses; watches; and medical braces 3 of all types.
