Replacement occupant Clause Samples

A Replacement Occupant clause allows a tenant to substitute another person to take over their lease obligations, either temporarily or permanently. In practice, this clause outlines the conditions under which a new occupant can be introduced, such as requiring landlord approval or meeting certain eligibility criteria. Its core function is to provide flexibility for tenants who need to vacate before the lease ends, while ensuring the landlord retains control over who occupies the property.
