Common use of Repatriation of Mortal Remains Clause in Contracts

Repatriation of Mortal Remains. Intl.SOS will arrange and pay for all reasonable and necessary expenses for transporting the Member’s mortal remains from the place of death to the Member’s Home Country, or, if requested by a family member or legal representative and with Intl.SOS’ prior written approval, Intl.SOS will arrange and pay for the reasonable and necessary expenses for local burial at the place of death outside the Member’s Home Country, such expenses not to exceed the cost to repatriate the Member’s mortal remains from the place of death to the Member’s Home Country.
