Common use of Repatriation of Mortal Remains Clause in Contracts

Repatriation of Mortal Remains. In the event an insured dies outside of his/ her country of residence, the insurer will pay the charges toward repatriation of the deceased’s remains to his/her country of residence if the death resulted from a covered condition under the terms of the policy. Coverage is limited to only those services and supplies necessary to prepare the deceased’s body and to transport the deceased to his/her country of residence. Arrangements must be coordinated in con- junction with USA Medical Services. OTHER BENEFITS AND LIMITATIONS
