Common use of Religious Programming Clause in Contracts

Religious Programming. 9.01 The Grantee will not spend grant funds on a program that has a religious component. 9.02 Before the Grantee refers a person to, or provides a person with, a program with a religious component, the Grantee must do the following: (1) allow the person to choose whether to participate in the program, (2) ensure that a person who chooses to not participate is not penalized, and (3) provide at least one secular option.
