Release Time for OEA President Sample Clauses
The "Release Time for OEA President" clause establishes the right of the OEA President to be excused from regular work duties for a specified period in order to perform union-related responsibilities. Typically, this means the President is granted paid or unpaid leave from their teaching or administrative role, allowing them to focus on representing union members, attending meetings, or handling negotiations. This clause ensures that the union's leadership can effectively fulfill their obligations without conflicting with their primary employment duties, thereby supporting the smooth operation and advocacy efforts of the union.
