Common use of Release from Vacancy Clause in Contracts

Release from Vacancy. If a man is sent temporarily to fill a vacancy and is paid deadheading in both directions to protect the job for a successful applicant, he/she will remain with the job until the successful applicant arrives. The successful applicant will be placed on the job as promptly as reasonably possible. If an assigned man bids out he/she will be expected to remain with his/her assignment until the vacancy so created can be bulletined and filled in the recognized manner.
