Common use of Release Date Clause in Contracts

Release Date. 3.1 As soon as reasonably practicable after the end of the Employment Period, the Directors will determine the extent to which any performance target have been satisfied. The Shares subject to the Award will then be Released on the Release Date or lapse accordingly, in whole or in part. 3.2 Subject to Condition 4, the Release Date shall be the later of the day the Directors determine the extent the performance target has been met and the first business day following the end of the Employment Period. However, if that date falls in a Closed Period, the Release Date will be the first business day following the end of that Closed Period.
