RELATIONSHIP OF THE PARTIES/INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR. The relationship between the MDHHS and the CMHSP is that of client and independent contractor. No agent, employee, or servant of the CMHSP or any of its sub-contractors shall be deemed to be an employee, agent or servant of the state for any reason. The CMHSP will be solely and entirely responsible for its acts and the acts of its agents, employees, servants, and sub-contractors during the performance of a contract resulting from this contract.
