Common use of Referees Clause in Contracts

Referees. Referee letters are not required for promotion to Senior Lecturer. For promotion to University Lecturer, at least four letters of reference from internal or external referees of high academic stature must support promotion to this rank. Referees will be chosen in the same manner as those for research faculty promotions.

Referees internal to the University will normally be from a Faculty different from the Member. Referees will be chosen in the same manner as those for research faculty promotions.
