Reduction requirements Clause Samples

The "Reduction requirements" clause sets out the conditions and procedures under which certain quantities, obligations, or commitments in an agreement may be decreased. Typically, this clause details the circumstances that permit a party to reduce their order volume, service level, or other contractual commitments, and may specify notice periods, minimum thresholds, or associated penalties. Its core practical function is to provide flexibility for parties to adjust their obligations in response to changing needs or circumstances, while ensuring that such reductions are managed in a predictable and fair manner.
