Common use of Reduce Water Consumption Clause in Contracts

Reduce Water Consumption. (i) The Tenant agrees to the installation of water meters or check meters that will be connected to the Landlord’s metering system for the Building (if one is in place), in respect of the Tenant’s consumption of water, at the Landlord’s option and at the Tenant’s sole cost and expense. (ii) Where potable water usage is not a necessity, the Tenant acknowledges and consents to the use of treated recycled or treated natural water in washrooms and in other applications within and around the Building. (iii) The Tenant consents to rainwater collection, treatment and reuse by the Landlord and wastewater collection, treatment and reuse by the Landlord from time to time. The Tenant consents to the use of water-saving appliances, such as waterless urinals, and other equipment as may be otherwise consistent with the Environmental Objectives.

Reduce Water Consumption.
