Recordable Clause Samples
The 'Recordable' clause defines whether a particular event, transaction, or agreement must be formally documented or registered with an official body or authority. In practice, this clause specifies the types of records that need to be created, maintained, or filed, such as registering a security interest with a government registry or recording a deed with a land office. Its core function is to ensure legal recognition and enforceability of the relevant rights or obligations by requiring proper documentation, thereby reducing disputes and providing clear evidence of the transaction or event.
