Recognition of Stewards. The Employer recognizes employees who are designated by the Union as stewards to act on behalf of the employees.
Recognition of Stewards. (a) The Employer recognizes the Union's right to appoint stewards and the Union shall notify the Employer of such appointments, in writing. A xxxxxxx shall obtain the permission of his/her supervisor prior to leaving his/her work area to attend to Union duties relating to the Employer's operations. Leave for this purpose shall be with current pay and permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. On resuming his/her duties the xxxxxxx shall notify his/her supervisor.
Recognition of Stewards. The Employer agrees to recognize up to four (4) Shop Stewards as selected or appointed by the Union. Shop Stewards will be permitted to wear shop xxxxxxx badges providing it does not pose a potential danger to the resident/client.
