Recess. A recess may be requested by either party during the hearing of a case. However, if such a request is granted by the Acting Chairperson, it shall not exceed one hour. The Acting Chairperson may also call for recess at any time, but such recess shall not exceed one hour in duration.
Recess. Subject to the consent of the other party, either party may call a recess of the negotiation session for any valid reason. This would involve such items as coffee breaks, etc.

School districts will make every effort to maintain consistency with other safety procedures. • This may mean that districts limit student access to certain pieces of playground equipment and restrict activities that are “high touch” and difficult to clean or maintain social distancing. • All districts will work toward “structured” recess activities, such as nature walks that limit students’ physical contact with others. • Students must wash or sanitize their hands before and after recess. • Parents may “opt out” of recess. Recess. Each school district recognizes the importance of physical activity in the development of students. As such, each school district ● will require students to wash hands or use hand sanitizer before and/or after recess. ● will make every effort to maintain consistency in cleaning play equipment and play spaces. ● will work toward “structured” recess activities that limit students’ physical contact with each other yet encourage exercise and play.
Recess. Either team may declare a recess when it appears that meaningful progress cannot be attained. A recess can only commence after mutual agreement for the time and place for the continuation of the negotiations has been determined and item agreement has been followed.
Recess. The chair of either group may recess his/her group for independent caucus at any time. Caucuses shall not be longer than thirty (30) minutes unless extended by mutual agreement.
