Common use of Receipt Clause in Contracts

Receipt. Each such notice, demand or other communication shall be deemed to have been made or delivered (in the case of any letter) when delivered to its office for the time being or, if sent by post, five (5) days after being deposited in the post first class postage prepaid in an envelope addressed to it at that address PROVIDED THAT if the copy of any notice, demand or other communication is not received by the Investor it shall not affect the deemed making or delivery of the notice, demand or other communication.

Each such notice, demand or other communication shall be deemed to have been made or delivered (in the case of any letter) when delivered to its office for the time being or, if sent by post, five (5) days after being deposited in the post first class or express airmail (as the case may be) postage prepaid in an envelope addressed to it at that address PROVIDED THAT or, if the copy of any noticesent by electronic mail, demand or other communication is not received by the Investor it shall not affect the deemed making or delivery of the notice, demand or other communicationin accordance with Clause 21.4.
