Common use of Receipt of Certain Benefits Clause in Contracts

Receipt of Certain Benefits. It is the mutual intention of the Company and the Executive that the Executive receive the full benefit of the compensation and benefits provided to the Executive during the term hereof which compensation and benefits may be payable over periods beyond the particular year of employment. The Executive shall not be obligated to seek other employment by way of mitigation of the amounts due to the Executive nor shall the Executive's earnings after termination reduce the Company's obligations hereunder. Nothing in this Section 6.1 is intended or shall be construed to affect the rights and obligations of the Company and its Affiliates, on the one hand, and the Executive, on the other, with respect to any loans, stock pledge arrangements, option plans or other agreements to the extent said rights or obligations survive termination of employment under the provisions of the documents relating thereto.
