Reactor Fuel Engineering (RFE) Sample Clauses
The Reactor Fuel Engineering (RFE) clause defines the responsibilities and standards related to the design, development, and management of nuclear reactor fuel. It typically outlines the technical requirements for fuel composition, performance criteria, and quality assurance measures that must be met by the supplier or contractor. For example, the clause may specify testing protocols, documentation standards, and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Its core practical function is to ensure that reactor fuel is engineered to meet safety, efficiency, and regulatory standards, thereby minimizing operational risks and ensuring reliable reactor performance.
