Ratable Sample Clauses
The 'Ratable' clause establishes that payments, deliveries, or allocations under a contract will be made in proportion to a specified measure, such as time elapsed, goods delivered, or services rendered. For example, if a service contract is terminated partway through its term, the ratable clause ensures that payment is only due for the portion of services actually provided up to the termination date. This clause's core function is to ensure fairness and proportionality in obligations, preventing overpayment or under-delivery by aligning compensation or performance with actual fulfillment.
