Range Safety. [a]Safety of the range is the responsibility of all range users. [b]The Range Officer is responsible for ensuring that the range is safe prior to use. 1. That the stop butt is in good repair. 2. That the targets are approved for use on the range. 3. Ammunition restrictions are adhered to. 4. That there is no activity in the danger area. 5. That hearing & eye protection is worn by all range users
