The Sector and ASM provider 8 acknowledge that NMFS will continue to operate the Pre-trip Notification System 9 (PTNS) to make selection for NEFOP (NMFS funded program) and ASM (Industry 10 funded program). The Sector will work with their ASM Provider(s) to ensure that 11 the selection process that is fair and equitable, distributed in a statistically random 12 manner and representative of the fishing activities and operations of all vessels 13 within the Sector throughout the fishing year.
