The Sector and ASM provider 8 acknowledge that NMFS will continue to operate the Pre-trip Notification System 9 (PTNS) to make selection for NEFOP (NMFS funded program) and ASM (Industry 10 funded program) because NMFS has expressly stated they will not approve an 11 ASM program that includes a vessel selection process not handled by NMFS.
