Common use of RAFT Clause in Contracts

RAFT. The City’s contribution/reimbursement limit for a retiree’s medical insurance is defined by the City’s contribution/reimbursement limit in effect on the date of retirement, as established by the Agreement in place at the time of the employee’s retirement. Notwithstanding any other provision in this Agreement, at no time shall the City’s contribution/reimbursement toward retiree medical exceed the retiree-medical contribution/reimbursement cap in place in the Agreement in effect at the time of employee’s retirement.
