Raceway Sample Clauses

Raceway. “Raceway” shall mean and refer to vertical and/or horizontal risers, conduits, and cable trays in the Airport through which Licensee will place its Cable.
Raceway. The design and specifications for the raceway system used in supporting and protecting electrical cable shall be in accordance with the provisions of the NEC. Individual cable tray systems shall be established for the following services.
Raceway. 1. EMT with compression fittings raceway system generally employed. Minimum size 3/4”. 2. Conduits subject to physical damage in areas such as main mechanical, electrical, and telecommunication rooms: Galvanized rigid steel within 7’-0” of floor. EMT may be used above 7’-0”. Galvanized rigid steel fittings shall be threaded. 3. Interior conduits subject to moisture and above grade exterior conduits: Rigid aluminum. 4. Aluminum or heavy gauge conduit will be employed outdoors. 5. PVC will be used underground. Contractor has option to route feeders below floor slab.
Raceway. Tubular or rectangular channel or conduit for containing electrical conductors, which may be exposed, buried beneath the surface of the earth, or encased in a building or structure.
