Qualified Laboratory Clause Samples
The 'Qualified Laboratory' clause defines the standards and requirements a laboratory must meet to be recognized as suitable for conducting specific tests or analyses under the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines criteria such as accreditation status, technical competence, and compliance with industry or regulatory standards, ensuring that only laboratories meeting these benchmarks are used for testing purposes. By establishing clear qualifications, the clause ensures the reliability and validity of test results, thereby reducing disputes and maintaining quality control throughout the contractual relationship.
Qualified Laboratory. The Analytical Laboratory must have the capability to analyze the quantity of samples requested within the required time period, have the instrumentation/technical expertise to perform the required analyses, and have the qualified staff to perform the analyses. Additionally, the Analytical Laboratory must have and adhere to appropriate standard operating procedures for the analysis of water samples for E. coli bacteria utilizing an EPA approved method (i.e. EPA 1103.1, EPA1603, SM9213D, SM9223B, IDEXX Colilert ). Furthermore, the Analytical Laboratory must have and adhere to appropriate quality control/quality assurance procedures for analysis of water samples for E. coli bacteria utilizing an EPA approved method (i.e. EPA 1103.1, EPA1603, SM9213D, SM9223B, IDEXX Colilert).
Qualified Laboratory a laboratory certified in accordance with the National Laboratory Certification Program (NLCP) by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
Qualified Laboratory. A laboratory that has been judged proficient in the counting of asbestos fibers by successful participation in the NIOSH Proficiency Analytical Testing (PAT) Program and is accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).
