Qualified Drivers. For the protection of the Parties’ respective interests in the safe operation of equipment used in the performance of this Agreement, and for protection of the interests of the public, Carrier shall undertake responsibility for assigning or permitting only those drivers who are competent and fully qualified and physically and medically eligible to operate the equipment in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
